Megan Elaine Sewell, LAc.

Megan Elaine Sewell, LAc., EAMP is a master acupuncturist, herbalist, and lifestyle consultant specializing in the treatment of women’s hormonal conditions, chronic pain and autoimmune disease.
She graduated from Bastyr University (Seattle) in 2010 with a Masters in Science of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. She currently maintains diplomat status through the Acupuncture Licensing Board, NCCAOM. Most recently, Megan has trained in the field of 5 Element Functional Medicine (5EFM) that encompasses a whole-systems approach to illness and disease. The mapping of symptoms in this straightforward process makes treating the most complex cases with simplicity and ease.
In 2013 Megan also graduated from the Sundust Oracle Institute where she studied cross-cultural medicines and native spirituality. The healings she has experienced in this way of life showed her the undeniable connection to source energy and how we truly come to know ourselves and find immense belonging through our connection to nature. She spends periods of time alone in nature every year as a way to pray and reconnect with what is most meaningful in her life.
Megan loves spending time with her son, Sabian, and her life partner and Naturopathic Physician, Dr. Shawn Postma. As a family they have a rich connection to sacred ceremony in which they travel each year to engage and support for the wellbeing of themselves and others. Conversations of medicine and healing are common in their household as well as laughter and play.
With her well-rounded experience of soulful living, a solid foundation in the healing arts, and a love for Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine, Megan created Wild Sage Acupuncture in 2015 as a way to share her wisdom with the people. She is confident in the healing powers of her therapies.
